The Trebbia Valley consists of vineyards alternating with woodlands and crops, making up a perfect model of biodiversity. Third-generation family-owned winery Cantine Bonelli uses indigenous varietals Ortrugo, Malvasia di Candia, Bonarda (Croatina), and Barbera with sustainable farming methods. Anacleto Bonelli founded the winery in the mid-1940s and created a network of vineyard farmers in the Trebbia Valley.
