Sea buckthorn, camerise, barberry, and macerated absinthe combine wonderfully well in a neutral grain alcohol. A Charlevoix apéritif with the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. Menaud is a pioneering distillery and brewery in Charlevoix, Quebec, founded by five friends who celebrate their region's terroir by creating "grain-to-bottle" spirits using locally sourced ingredients like wheat, rye, and wild botanicals. Named after a famous local novel, Menaud focuses on artisanal production, unique flavors reflecting the northern landscape (salty, floral, woodsy), innovative dark glass bottles inspired by the St. Lawrence River, and strong community ties with local farmers.
