Anish Patel discovered minimal intervention wine on a trip to Spain. After breaking his spine in a car accident, Anish reflected upon and reinvented his life. He left a job in finance and dove into wine, purchasing sustainably-farmed California grapes to make his own. Tinto Amorio crafts wines for those who appreciate life, are enthusiastic about skin contact wines, and celebrate the unscripted. As a first generation Indian-American, food insecurity and its disproportionate effect on people of color is an important issue to Patel. Tinto Amorio donates 5% of its profits to local food banks. The name "Bheyo" is a Sanskrit term meaning "to become" or "fearless," reflecting the brand's mission to demystify wine for a new generation.
