Antonella and Marco began the adventure of Folicello almost for fun in the early 1980s, with the intention of producing a healthy glass of wine to drink and share. The Folicello vineyards are certified organic in Castelfranco Emilia, within the Modena province of Emilia-Romagna. The winery operates a 10-hectare estate on the plains typical of Lambrusco production, with a modern cellar designed for artisanal vinification. Marco and Antonella's approach extends beyond organic certification requirements, embracing fully natural practices in both vineyard and cellar. The estate is energy self-sufficient through solar power, uses fermentation byproducts for vine treatments, and maintains biodiversity throughout the property. 

Now, their two daughters have joined the operations. Federica has been working in the company since 2015 and deals mainly with commercial and administrative aspects. She follows the various production phases, foreign relations and loves direct contact with our customers. Together with Francesca, she is the person who answers your emails, prepares orders and welcomes you to our store. Irene joined the company in 2022 and follows more of the production side. She supports Marco in managing the campaign and organizing the harvest. She is mainly in charge of the packaging and warehouse stages.
